- Marijampolė free economic zone
Marijampolė free economic zone (MFEZ) is a 77.73 ha industrial development territory with the status of a free economic zone, located along the A5 Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai highway, Marijampolė municipality. The MFEZ was established to create more favorable conditions for investors by applying tax incentives. In 2024, a production building with an area of approximately 5,330 m2 was completed in the MFEZ territory, which offers investors quick and convenient settlement. All necessary communications (electricity, natural gas, etc.) were laid. The infrastructure of the plot near the building was improved: parking spaces for cars and bicycles, electric car charging, and a security system were installed.
